I’m proud to share publication news for this tough little thing, this tough little poem for the girl next door who was not ok. “I Remember It Was Called An Ash, the Baby Tree That Was” woke up today in the beautiful Red Ogre Review. Read and hear it here.

Impactful. Heart-breaking. Thought-provoking.

Thank you! This was not much fun to remember or write, but it helps to think it did some good somehow.

Definitely. I would say it did a lot of good. Sad to admit that these things are still happening all over the world and poems like yours are needed more than ever. For me, it was beautiful and heart-breaking at the same time. And the question at the end really brought tears to my eyes.
